Some monsters tend to ignore characters based soley on their Defense skill level, while others tend to use the slightly more complicated Combat Level system.

In the above table, the new Combat Level calculation is used for calculations when that information was provided in the wiki, otherwise the old Combat Level calculation was used. If any monsters were shown to use both the Defense skill level and Combat Level, both are considered in the calculations.

So when you see Male Ogres attacking while Ice Dragons cower in the above table, know that is simply an artifact of using the wiki data this way.
